#1  Foris “Estate Grown Dry” Gewurztraminer, Rogue Valley, Oregon  $38

With original planting dating back to 1974, Foris is a steward to some of the oldest Gewürztraminer vineyards in Oregon. Gewürztraminer can be fickle to grow and to capture the exotic spice and perfume that is imbedded in the vibrant pink berries as it is transformed into wine. is is especially true when producing a dry style of Gewürztraminer, for which Foris is renowned.

#2  La Marea by Le P’tit Paysan “Kristy Vineyard” Albariño, Monterey County, California   $58

This 100% Albarino is produced from fruits grownin Kristy Vineyard, on the western bench overlooking the Salinas River on broken sediment of ancient sea beds. Kristy is special because Albarino in the vineyard reaches full phenological ripeness at low potential alcohol and natural, bright acidity. Cold fermented in stainless steel for aromatic intensity.

#3  Vinum Cellars Chenin Blanc, Clarksburg, Dry Creek Valley, California   $32

This unique crisp white wine is made from the noble Chenin Blanc grape most prominent in the Loire Valley of France. We found an exceptional vineyard farmed by Ken Wilson in Clarksburg California (a third generation farmer) who agreed to sell Vinum the grapes on handshake.
