A One-Night-Only Dining Experience in Des Moines — Saturday, April 25, 2026
Each Saturday evening, Table 128 offers a Chef’s Tasting Menu — a three-course, one-night-only dinner created by Chef Lynn and the culinary team.
The menu changes weekly, is never repeated, and is served alongside our regular dinner menu. Guests may choose the tasting experience or order à la carte.
This week’s menu feels like a true turn into spring — lighter, brighter, and a little more playful.
We begin with eggs in a frame, built around toasted brioche, a sunny side egg, frisée, bacon lardon, and a Dijon-buttermilk vinaigrette. It’s rich, balanced, and familiar in a way that still feels refined.
The second course features braised lamb shank, served with Yukon gold potatoes, fava beans, mushroom purée, and wild chives. Comforting and deeply layered, but with fresh spring elements throughout.
Dessert finishes with strawberries & champagne, a terrine with whipped crème fraîche, mint, and strawberry compote — bright, clean, and a perfect seasonal close.
Optional wine pairings are available with each course.
