Looking for a standout dinner in Des Moines this weekend?

Each Saturday, Table 128 offers a Chef’s Tasting Menu — a three-course, one-night-only experience created by Chef Lynn and our culinary team. The menu changes weekly, is never repeated, and is served alongside our regular dinner menu.

This Saturday’s menu shifts into early spring — brighter flavors, open-fire cooking, and bold contrast.

We begin with grilled halloumi, marinated with lemon and thyme and paired with flavor-packed tomatoes, grilled red onion, and a peppery watercress and arugula salad. Fresh, vibrant, and layered.

The second course features a grilled Iowa Craft Meats duroc pork tomahawk, served with cauliflower purée, snap peas and carrots, chili crisp, black garlic jus, and chive oil. Rich, smoky, and deeply satisfying.

Dessert finishes with a playful pistachio ice cream sandwich, layered with honey biscuits, brandied cherries, fresh berries, and raspberry gel.

Optional wine pairings are available with each course.
