A Three-Course Seasonal Dinner with Optional Wine Pairings – Saturday, October 25, 2025
Each Saturday at Table 128, we offer a one-night-only dining experience that reflects the season’s story. Each menu is written with intention — balancing flavor, texture, and warmth, while celebrating the ingredients that define this moment in Iowa.
This week’s menu highlights the comfort and character of late October. We begin with beef tartare, seasoned with grain mustard, garlic, and crispy shallots, topped with egg yolk and house-made potato chips. The second course features grilled trout paired with heirloom bean salad, blistered tomato and shallot sauce, and wilted spinach scented with Pernod — bright, aromatic, and satisfying. For dessert, we’ll finish with apple crisp baked with oat streusel, a simple, timeless celebration of fall fruit.

What is the Chef’s Tasting Menu?
Our Chef’s Tasting Menu is completely optional and offered in addition to our regular à la carte dinner menu. Guests may choose the three-course tasting (with or without wine pairings) or order from the standard Table 128 menu — it’s entirely up to you.
